Mojo Monday Week 79

I was finally able to find the time to make it into my craft room today. I made this card for the Mojo Monday Challenge #79. I loved using this sketch, and I found the perfect image to use.
For this card I used DCWV cardstock/patterned paper, (I am loving the glitter cardstock) SU scallop punch, Sassy Stems stamp set by SU, and ribbon. I colored the image with prismacolor watercolor pencils.
Hope you all had time to play today.

First Communion

My niece's first communion is coming up and I wanted to make a card that reflects this very important sacrament. I found this beautiful stamp at one of the craft stores and thought it would be perfect for my niece's card.

I used DCWV luxury stack cardstock, SU brushed silver cardstock, bible stamp by Inkadinkado, ribbon and Jolee's embellishment. I heat embossed the image in silver and colored in the flowers using my prismacolor watercolor pencils.

Housemouse Challenge #30

This is the card I made for this weeks Housemouse challenge. The challenge was to make a shaped card. I decided to make a teacup, and used an image that I had received in an image swap. This is the first time I've entered the Housemouse challenge and I had a lot of fun. Definitely challenging though.
For this card I used DCWV patterned paper, teacup template, Housemouse image, prima flowers, gems and glitter glue.

Purple Bloom

This is the second spring card I made today. I keep feeling like something is missing or off. Let's just say it's not my favorite. For this card I used colorbok cardstock, HOTP patterned paper, SU Blooming Beautiful stamp set, prismacolor watercolor pencils, ribbon, dollar store flower and gems.

Spring has sprung!

Spring is finally here. The sun is shining and the birds are chirping, I can't think of a better time to make some spring cards. Nothing like a beautiful spring day to inspire you. I love how this card turned out, if I do say so myself. LOL. I used colorbok cardstock, nestabilities labels die cut, ribbon and SU Terrific Tulips stamp set.
I hope you all enjoy your day! Happy crafting!

Happy Birthday Chris

Tomorrow is my son's 19th birthday and I wanted to make him a special card. I was very much out of my comfort zone as masculine cards are not really my forte. I had bought this stamp set from Inkadinkado a while back when it was on sale and decided this might just work for my son's card.

I used SU cardstock/designer paper, Inkadinkado stamp set, SU chocolate chip ink, ribbon, gems and glitter glue. I inked up the edges of the image and the inside of the card to give it a more masculine feel. Overall I am happy with how the card turned out. I hope my son likes it.

HouseMouse Easter

I've really been having fun with my new housemouse stamps, but I think this one is my favorite. As soon as I saw it I knew exactly what colors I wanted to use. I wanted it to pop, so I added some gems to the flowers and glitter glue to the easter egg. I guess I'm in my bling phase. All of a sudden I'm in the mood for jelly beans! LOL.

I made these for Sherri's (iloveflipflops) challenge over on the stamp shack. The challenge is to make five christmas cards a month. I used one of my new HouseMouse stamps, night light. It is really pretty, alot of coloring though.

First HouseMouse Order

Yippee!! I finally broke down and ordered some HouseMouse stamps. I just received them last week. I am totally in love with these little mice. They are the cutest and now I have my own stash. Can't wait to share my creations with you.
